Introducing our Shibuya Pleated Shorts II. cut from a custom 8.5oz cotton twill and proudly crafted in Los Angeles.

Finding the perfect fabric for summer shorts isn’t simply about making them lighter — it’s about balancing breathability with structure. Too light. and they lose their shape after a few hours of wear. Too heavy. and they’re uncomfortable once the temperature rises.

To solve that. we worked alongside our local mill to develop an entirely new custom twill exclusive to Pool House New York.

The result is a light-to-midweight fabric that feels effortless in warm weather while maintaining the crisp structure and clean drape of a tailored trouser. Compared to our original twill. this new fabric holds its shape noticeably better throughout the day. allowing the signature wide-leg silhouette to remain sharp without sacrificing comfort.

Designed with our signature Shibuya proportions. the fit is relaxed through the seat and leg with a clean. uninterrupted line from hip to hem. An adjustable waistband and internal drawstring provide everyday versatility. while four welt pockets reinforce the refined. trouser-inspired design.
